The good thing is most companies offer some type of lead capture page or tool that does this for you. If your company provides this page for you they may also provide a tracking system that links this page to your downline. That way you are notified when someone request more information from you. The lead capture page is considered the front door for your business. If anyone wants in your company they have to go through your lead capture page.
Free Item of Value
This is the main reason why people will sign up on your lead capture page. Does your company offer a free newsletter, sample products, a free trial period or any free information? If so, you can offer those items to a potential prospect in exchange for their contact information.
Notice I didn’t say go out and create an e-book or record an audio cd. You can do these things if you have the skills and resources, but don’t get consumed with these things.
Most of the time the tools your company offers will be a good enough teaser for prospects to sign up.
Auto-responder to follow Up with Your Prospects
After someone requests more information you will need to contact them. Chances are you won’t sign them up in your first conversation. That’s okay. You can stay in touch with them until they are ready to join your company. An auto-responder will allow you to send scheduled emails to your prospects educating them with the benefits of joining your company through you and not some other distributor in the company.
